It may shock most of you (being the night owl I’m known to be), to know that I have been getting up between 6 and 6:30 am, but this morning, it was so cool out after the refreshing thunderstorm yesterday evening, that I slept until around 9:00.

I had barely dressed when my landlady brought me 4 freshly baked, huckleberry muffins from her kitchen. Ah, it’s a rough life!
I’ve never had huckleberries, and tasting one by itself is quite bitter, but in the muffins, perfection!

It’s now 2:00 pm and quite warm, but not as humid as usual. I have a small fan blowing straight on me as I type on my PC, but when the fan is not blowing directly on me, I can hear Howler Monkeys off in the distance. Sometimes they have been close enough to wake me out of a deep sleep, sounding like an alarm of some sort, which can be one of the reasons they howl, but not necessarily.
I met Trudi (Germany) and Jochen (Austria), who are traveling around the world in their 45' sailboat, at Fuego's Restaurant. They joined me at my table for a wonderful conversation. I had a fabulous tortilla vegetarian pizza and I will visit this eatery again.
A couple friends contacted me last week that funding is still a few weeks away, but I still intend to start gofundme.com campaigns, one for personal expenses and one for the resort. I want to take video footage of the properties for potential sites, though I am most intrigued by one with ocean front and virtually untouched rainforest, for the most conservation and use the footage as a backdrop for the Resort's funding campaign.
My immediate financial needs are for housing, travel to see different properties, as well as living expenses. I only have a few regular supporters and really need your help. $1000 USD = 2000 BZ, which will cover all these expenses, including a new, very much needed, laptop.

Peggy picked me up last Wednesday afternoon and we had a wonderful visit at her place as you'll see by the views. On the way back, the lights were so pronounced in the city (San Ignacio), she stopped so I could snap the shot on the right.
Last Thursday, I was invited to a Family and Friends Potluck, hosted by Laine and Evan at their Chaya Garden of Ashram. There were about 18 of us and we ate wonderful food, mostly vegetarian. The group meets at different locations every 2 weeks and I plan to attend next Thursday, the 22nd.
One of the comforts I miss is my home office, but I had to get some business cards printed the other day and Lois, the worker who helped me, volunteered to assist us at the community before she had a chance to look at the website. I am absolutely overwhelmed by how receptive most people, especially Belizeans, are to the concepts, which will be implemented at the Resort.
For now, I am in touch with Dave Stewart (3D Printing Network) and making arrangements for him to come view the property and start the preliminary work to get started. I'm also networking with Belizeans and Expats who are builders. I love it here on Belize!
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the Resort or Belize. I look forward to all feedback and your contributions. I appreciate your help while I’m working to Change Our World.
Until next time, I’m sending you Lots of Love and Violet Light,
Nicki Love
